Information on Children’s Parties

We are able to accommodate four parties per month (providing the hall is free); held on a Sunday at Ashford Community Centre.

Party times are from 3pm until 5pm.  We only provide parties for children from the age of 1 year to 5 years
 
Party food can vary but a typical food spread would be:

Mini Sausages
Sausage Rolls
Brown and/or white bread sandwiches with a choice of two fillings
Fairy cakes
Jaffa cakes
Chocolate Fingers
Various selection of crisps
 
Vegetarian options are available but would need to be discussed with Wendy and Fi.
 
The cost of a party is £200 which includes the hire of the hall, play equipment, bouncy castle, ball pit etc, and  includes a baby area if required.

We cater for up to 25 children.  Any amount over this would be £6.50 per head.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to guarantee the booking.  The outstanding balance is due the week before the party.  We accept cash or cheque.  Cheques are to be made payable to ’The Secret Playhouse’. 

All you will need to bring along with you on the day is a birthday cake, party bags and any balloons or decorations if you want them.  

The small bar in the corner of the hall can be opened to serve alcohol for the duration of the party.  Please request this in advance.  You will also be able to buy hot drinks from us.

The party will finish at 5pm prompt, and we ask that you vacate the hall as quickly as possible so that we can clear up.

As we are limited to the amount of parties we can hold in the hall, it is best to book early to avoid disappointment.
